JusSpend Privacy Policy

JusB Apps FZE (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and has designed JusSpend around local ownership of your financial information.

1. Local-first financial data

JusSpend keeps core spending, income, liability, category, note, preference and related financial-tracking records locally on your device. No account is required for core functionality, and JusSpend does not upload those records to JusB Apps FZE servers.

2. Camera, receipt images and OCR

JusSpend can access your camera, photo library or device files only when you choose to take or add a receipt image.

Receipt images may be analysed using optical character recognition (OCR) to extract text for receipt review, parsing and reconciliation. On supported browser and Android paths, this processing takes place within the app, browser or device. JusSpend does not send receipt images or extracted receipt text to JusB Apps FZE for OCR processing.

Receipt images and extracted text may remain locally as part of the receipt workflow or saved record until you delete them, reset the app, uninstall the app or otherwise remove the related local data.

3. Clipboard and drag-and-drop images

If you paste a screenshot image or drag and drop receipt images into a supported capture area, those images enter the same receipt-processing path as images chosen through the app. Ordinary text pasted into text fields remains text and is not treated as an image.

4. Local notifications

JusSpend may request notification permission to provide reminders or alerts that you choose to use. These notifications are scheduled and handled locally by the app and operating system. They are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.

5. Backups, export and import

JusSpend may allow you to create, export, import or restore backups of your app data. These actions are initiated by you. You are responsible for protecting exported files after they leave the app.

6. Premium purchases

JusSpend may offer Premium features through Google Play. Google Play processes purchase transactions and RevenueCat may process limited account, transaction, device and entitlement information needed to determine whether Premium access is active or can be restored.

JusB Apps FZE does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

7. Support communications

If you contact JusB Apps FZE for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, enquiry details, screenshots or technical information.

8. Analytics, advertising and tracking

JusSpend does not currently integrate third-party advertising, behavioural-tracking or general-purpose analytics SDKs.

9. Data deletion and retention

Locally stored JusSpend data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, uninstall it or otherwise remove it through available app or device controls. Exported backups are separate files and must be deleted separately.

Purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat are subject to those providers' applicable retention requirements.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to design the app to protect information from unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. You remain responsible for device security and for protecting exported files.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held directly by JusB Apps FZE. Much of the information entered into JusSpend is stored locally, so JusB Apps FZE may not possess or have access to it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when JusSpend functionality, legal requirements or third-party services change. The current version will be published on this page.
